About me…What I do and why I do it

I’m Gwenna, I am a mum, a wife and an artist. I enjoy the adventure of travel and the comfort of home in equal measure. I am inspired by all things colourful and patterned whether it be designed by man or mother nature. I love chocolate, lattes and dipping my feet in the ocean.

As White Space I design and paint bespoke wall murals for domestic and commercial spaces. Drawing on my years of experience in textile design I can work closely with you and interpret your ideas to create a perfectly personnal and unique piece of art.

I have a background in printed textile and surface design. After gaining my degree in Fashion Textiles I worked for 15 years as a freelance designer in the fashion textile industry. I sold to many high street brands as well as the overseas market.

Since 2010 I have been a fulltime mum to twins so my work choices have had to adapt to my new role. Painting murals enables me to use my creative and social skills in a way that fits in around my family. The perfect mix.
